With the New Year, I had new ideas for this Business and Ministry.
The new Look and the new Blend!

Welcome to the first two changes.  A new look to our labels and a new Blend of

The new look of A Cup Of Faith's look & a new Blend!

Coffee! I am very excited about these first, few changes, and I think you will be too.

First off, the label. All of our Coffee labels used to have the logo, and information about the Coffee such as name and some descriptors.
It was difficult to tell the packages apart since they all looked the same.
Now, each type of Coffee will have it’s own unique black and white photo with it. This will help create interest in the education of the Coffee Industry over time. For instance, this photo on the label of our new ‘Black & White’ Blend is
of freshly roasted Coffee, cooling in the cooling bin of our Roaster.
This is something not many people get to see or know about!

Next, the bottom of the label. You will see a hand written date. This is the Roasted Date. You will know at a glance how fresh you Coffee really is!

The letters next to the date will indicate what type of grind is within the bag.
WB- Whole Bean.
GD- Ground for Drip
GFP- Ground for French Press
GE- Ground for Espresso

We believe these changes will make things a bit easier for you, and save time when you are selecting your brew for the week!

Next, let me introduce the NEW Blend! Our ‘Black & White’ Blend is a complex blend of light and dark Coffees blended together to create a unique taste. It’s just right!
This has become my favorite Blend, and I believe that it will rise to the top sellers list!

We hope you enjoy these new changes, and this new and exciting Blend of Coffee!

Be sure to add our Facebook and Twitter pages! Go to our home page or ‘News Feed’ pages on our website for the links. This is a great way to get daily updates with specials, news, and some education in Coffee as well as about our Loving God.

Happy New Year!

and it’s all going to start in this next week!

I’m so excited, are you?

If you have anything you would like to see on our website, or have suggestions, please feel free to tell us at

Blessings and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

We have the Fresh Roasted Coffee you will love!

Today, we were able to be a part of Katty Shack Cat Rescue’s 3rd annual

Katty Shack Cat Rescue's 3rd annual Bake sale!

Bake sale. This Bake Sale was to help raise monies for the cost it takes to care for these beautiful cats. They need around $8,000.00 per year for the medical needs, food and housing.

I had the opportunity to represent A Cup Of Faith Coffee Roasting Co. at this event. Baked goods and Coffee, what a great combination!

I was in awe of all the lovely people that came by to drop off baked goods for this event, so many loyal and loving people, so intent on helping as much as they could! It was a wonderful thing, and truly warmed my heart.

They had three huge tables filled with Baked goods, from cookies to cakes, they had it all, and all of it was donated.
By the end, they had maybe one half of a table left of goodies.

Our Coffee was being drank by people coming to the Bake Sale and for items from Pack’s Hardware. We gave out Coffee to drink, samples to take home and sold Coffee too. Donations from each bag sold went towards Katty Shack Cat Rescue.  We had lots of complements, and some new Customers that said they would be buying our Coffee from now on.  (WOW. THANK YOU!)

It was a wonderful day, meeting new people, making new friends and building relationships.

I wanted to take this time out to wish everyone a happy and safe Thanksgiving!

Take some time to reflect on all that you have. Maybe it might not be as much as you once had, or you might even be going through some hard times right now, but I bet you can still find something to be thankful for today, tomorrow and every day.

As we ponder all that we have to be thankful for, I encourage you to also remember those less fortunate that yourself.

We will be getting ready to help those people out as much as we can shortly.  So please stay tuned to find out what it is, and how you can help other people and possibly win something big…
and just in time for Christmas!

Thank you to our Veterans and Active Duty!

To all of our Veterans and Active Duty, we thank you.

Thank you for making such hard sacrifices, both you, and your loved ones.
Thank you for making this selfless decision to fight for our freedom,… something many take for granted.

Thank you for allowing me to be able to Pray, to read my Bible, to vote, to write and say what ever I want, to allow me to dress how ever I want. Whether we agree or not, weather we love or hate, whether we agree with the people over us or not, it is a FREEDOM to be able to do these things.

So we THANK YOU, we Bless you, and we are behind you here at A Cup Of Faith Coffee Roasting Co.
Our Prayers are for your safety, that you are healthy (mentally and physically), and that you have the peace which passes all understanding during these trying times.
Please read:
Psalms 91
Philippians 4:7
3 John 1:2

Without Faith, it is impossible to please God. Hebrews 11:6
Faith works by Love. Galatians 5:6

In other words, if we are not walking in Love towards everyone, then it is impossible to please God.
Also, Love and Forgiveness go hand in hand. You cannot have one without the other!

Let’s please our Heavenly Father.

Just like our Green Coffee, here at A Cup Of Faith Coffee, we have MORE than enough!

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. A-men.” Ephesians 3:20-21

Increase!  More than enough!  Abundance!  Overflowing!  Exceeding our needs, wants and desires!

Think about that for a moment.

Our God is known as El Shaddai, which means “The God who is more than enough!”  And according to that Scripture above, He is more than enough than all we can ask or think!
I don’t know about you, but I can sure think of quite a bit!

Our Heavenly Father is not cheap and He’s not broke.  Psalms 50:10 says, “For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.”
God owns it all, and the best part is that He cares about us, His creation.

Matthew 6:31-33 says, “Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

Keep God first in your life, and His commands.  He didn’t give us commandments to punish us, but to correct us, to give us life, and a more abundant life!
In John 10:10 Jesus says, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”

Jesus has come so that we might have a more abundant life!  God’s commandments are for our benefit, after all, He created us. Don’t you think He would  know the best way for us to be taken care of?
So what do you have need of?  Health? Peace? Joy? Finances? A future Husband or Wife?

Start putting God first, and His love.  Remember, you have freely received His goodness and forgiveness, so give it freely to everyone.
That’s the true nature of the Father’s Heart.

What is the difference between God’s love and People’s?

Most of the time, when a Christian tells someone about God, it can come off harsh, pushy, cold, angry, full of fear, full of intimidation and guilt towards the person they are talking to.
Sad to say, this is a fact.
People are selfish.  And if someone is talking about God to you, but their motives seem selfish, (putting you down, making you feel as if you’re not good enough, lying about you, gossiping about you, telling you that your going to hell because you’re not going to their Church.. etc.) I want to let you know that those words are nothing like God and He would never say things like that!

The Bible says a lot of things about “sinners”, sins, scolding and re-directing by Commandments / rules / laws.
Christians seem to LOVE to point the finger at everyone else, (but themselves) and judge, using God’s Word as if He gave it to them to Police the World with it.
The Christians who are doing this are pushing people who don’t truly know God away, giving Him a bad name!

The truth is though, that the Bible, it’s Laws and corrections are not for people who don’t know God,… they are for us.. CHRISTIANS!

What person that doesn’t know God, and has not accepted Him as Lord and Savior would want a Bible?  Normally you get one once you fall in love with Him as God!

What good would it do a Mac owner to have the instructions to a PC?  Nothing, right?  Well, why do we as Christians think the Bible and it’s Laws and corrections are for people who haven’t accepted God into their hearts?

Christians can be sinners.  Did you know that? YES!  I am a Christian, and if I don’t forgive someone, then I’m in sin according to Matthew 6:14-15:
14For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
5But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

1 John 4:7 says, “Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.”

Now it says that God is love!  Well, let’s find out what God’s idea of love is.
Is it selfish?  Is it beating people down with an iron fist? Is it hating everyone who isn’t perfect? Is He abusive? Does He put you down?… Read on:

1 Corinthians 13:1-8 King James Version (note the word “Charity” means LOVE):
1Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

2And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

3And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

4Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

5Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

6Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

7Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

8Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.”

Love seems to be a lot different to God, doesn’t it?  Patient, kind, not jealous, not proud, not seeking her own (or selfish), is not easily angered, rejoices in the truth, believes all things, hopes all thing and believes that love never fails.

In fact, if you read the part above, how it talks about people can talk as men and angels, prophecy, and even be burnt for God, etc. But if they don’t have LOVE (charity) it’s nothing!

Can you see the difference between God’s idea of love and people’s?
Can you imagine someone loving you like that, without selfishness or hidden agenda’s?  Just a pure, LOVE.

God is LOVE.

You are loved unlike anything you have ever imagined!  Pure, genuine, unselfish, want to hug you and never let go, kind of love.
You are what He is in love with, and that will never change.

Do you know what He wants most?  Conversation.
He longs for you to just talk to Him.  Really!  And you can tell Him anything.  He’ll never gossip, or make you feel guilty.  He might tug on your heart very gently, to change direction, but He will never put you down or yell at you.

Give Him a chance, and just talk to Him.  He will talk back to you, if you let Him.
It could be through a song, or a book. It could be through another person (but remember what God’s love is… if the person is saying anything other that what love is, then it’s NOT from God! Be careful!)
God’s Voice is a small, still voice you can hear deep down inside of you.  He is not pushy, loud or mean.  He is kind.  He is a Gentlemen.  He is a Father.

I challenge you to talk to God today, now that you know how He truly is. There is no reason to be afraid.  He is LOVE.
And if you come across those people who are Christians, but don’t sound anything like God… just forgive them and maybe even tell them what LOVE truly is, in a loving way of course.  🙂

Have you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior?  If not, and you would like to accept Jesus Christ, the Son of God into your heart, you can go to our page to read all about it at

I cannot tell you how happy and excited I am about the arrival of our new Diedrich IR-5 Roaster! This new addition will make things so much easier, and quicker for us.

We are still trying to think of a name for her, but it has been suggested that we call her “Faith”.  I personally like it, and that just might be the new name!

We got the call yesterday around 10:00, saying that the truck would be here soon.
I felt like an expectant Mother again, and tried to be patient while awaiting the truck.

When it arrived, I was thrilled!  The people at Diedrich did a wonderful job boxing her up carefully.
We got the Bobcat, and carefully removed her from the truck and into her new home.

Removing her from the box was like opening the biggest Christmas present ever!

A Cup Of Faith's new IR-5 Roaster!

She was beautiful.

Silver and white, just as I asked for.

It took us a couple of hours to get her from the truck to the Roasterie. When something weighs 900 pounds, you want to go slow and take those extra precautions!

Thank you Diedrich for a wonderful job.  I couldn’t be more pleased.

Thank you to my Husband for all of your support and hard work.  I appreciate you more than you know.

Most of all, thank you Father for this opportunity, for this gift you have given me and assignment. You know my heart’s desires.

I cannot wait to fire her up!

More to come.

We had such a wonderful weekend!

Our Family went to The Red Barn Farm, in Weston MO and enjoyed the multitude

From The Red Barn Farm, Weston Mo.

of various types of pumpkins, gourds and squash for sale. So many different colors and varieties!
They also have apple orchards, hay rides, a corn maze, pony rides, and different animals for the kids to look at and enjoy.
If you live in the area, I highly recommend you come out and take a look.

The reason why I’m telling you about this is because they had a some signs you could read on the way to the corn maze, and one in particular caught my eye.

A place where Love is abundant
Service is a way of life.”

That should be the motto for every Christian.  How I wish I thought of it!  I’m just glad I was able to see it.
It’s always amazing to me how our Heavenly Father can get a message to us.

Enjoy your day.
